Lab-Loc Specimen Transport Bags

Reclosable Specimen Transport Bags.  These bags provide an excellent package for transferring specimens and paperwork together in hospital and medical loboratory environments.  Miller Poly Bags proudly offers an extensive line of 2 mil and 3 mil reclosable specimen transport bags.  These bags come printed *BIOHAZARD * STAT * and RED OPAQUE versions.  They are available in 3 wall and 2 wall construction. 

These Seal-Top-Closure bags are the "workhorse" containers for transferring patient sample to and from the clinics and laboratroies in acute treatment facilities.  Most bags are identified with printed "BIOHAZARD" and one is identified with a printed "STAT" label.  The BIOHAZARD label is a warning to facility personnel that the contents of the bag contain patient fluid or tissue samples that are (or potentially are) biologically hazardous to their health.  "STAT" means URGENT, RUSH, EMERGENCY, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in the medical setting.

Specimen Transport Bags with Paperwork Pouch - Allows the specimen and its necessary paperwork (identifying contents and verifying action to take or action that has been taken) to travel in one package while protecting the paperwork from being tainted by contact with the sample specimen.

Specimen Transport Bags with NO Paperwork Pouch - is provided for facilities where the paperwork is not required to travel with or allowed to be in the same container package as the sample - this bag is a standard Seal-Top style with printing.

Various color tints are available in these to allow them to be incorporated in a customized color code program within a healthcare facility(i.e., various clinical departments could be assigned a representative color).
