 Portion Control Bags Miller's Portion Control Bags provide an economical, easy to use system for controlling food portions for restaurants, commercial kitchens and institutional food preparers. These users often pre-package smaller quantities of food for use at a later date, and these bags aid in the identification, labeling and dating of these portions. This line consists of eight printed bags in two sizes. The printing consists of seven bags with color-coded days of the week, and one bag featuring all seven color-coded days. Each bag also has a write-on block for identifying contents. All of these bags are available in two sizes: 6 ½" X 7"+1 ¾" Lip and Flip, and 10" X 8 ½"+ 2" Lip and Flip. These bags are made of 0.5 mil HDPE material for excellent and economical short-term food storage. Portion Control Bags can be quickly and easily loaded on a saddle pack dispenser, and the Lip and Flip closure helps keep food fresh. Because the bags are made with virgin polyethylene resin they meet USDA and FDA requirements for use with food products.
