Weighing Flat Bags

To figure bulk weight of flat bags use the following formula:

Width x Length x (mil gauge x number of bags) / 15

Weighing Gusseted Bags

Add one full gusset to width when figuring bulk weight of gussted bags.

(Width + Gusset) x Length x (mil gauge x number of bags) / 15

Weighing Tubing

Use this formula to determine the weight of 12 inch rolls with 3 inch cores only.

Width of Tubing X 3.4 = weight / roll

Width of Tubing X Length of Tubing X Gauge X 0.8 = weight / roll
